If you're a competitive gamer looking for the best performance, the AOC AG456UCZD with its higher refresh rate and quicker response time is an excellent choice, but it's at a premium price and has limitations for productivity and image clarity. The Gigabyte M28U offers higher resolution and better text quality, making it suitable for productivity and digital photo editing at a more affordable price, but it doesn't match the AOC in gaming performance or contrast, and it's less suitable for HDR gaming and media consumption. Choose the AOC if gaming is your priority and budget is not a constraint, or the Gigabyte if you seek a versatile monitor with better value for mixed use. Give Feedback

PC Gamer

Jacob Ridley | January 2022
"Fundamentally the M28U is an impressive 4K monitor; between the resolution, refresh rate, and IPS panel, it's a great all-rounder for the step up to 4K. Even beyond PC gaming, the inclusion of a HDMI 2.1 port offers 120Hz gaming for consoles, so it's quite the multi-faceted package for its price. Gigabyte has made no major sacrifice to tick all the checkboxes with the M28U."
