If you're looking for a larger screen and higher resolution for clearer images and more workspace, the LG 27GP850 is suitable; however, it comes with a higher price. For competitive gaming, the LG's wider refresh rate range and variable refresh rate (VRR) support make it better for smooth gameplay, but its lower contrast could affect dark scenes. The AOC 24G2SPU, being less expensive and with a slightly better contrast, is a good choice for casual gaming and productivity. Neither is ideal for HDR gaming or media consumption, but for digital photo editing, both are sufficient with good color coverage. If you prioritize text clarity and day-to-day tasks, the LG has an edge with its better pixels per inch. Give Feedback

TechSpot

Tim Schiesser | May 2021
"In my opinion, the LG 27GP850 is the best in its class from the monitors I've tested, with the combination of great response times and a functional sRGB mode pushing it over the edge. It's generally worth the price premium and its overall balance of features with few weak areas makes it a monitor you won't be disappointed to have."
