The MSI Raider GE78 has a better screen than the MSI Summit E13 Flip Evo for general use, gaming and AI, engineering and design, software development, and content creation.
When evaluating the MSI Raider GE78 and MSI Summit E13 Flip Evo, consider that general use favors a balance of resolution, brightness, and panel type, so high-resolution displays with bright, vibrant screens will look crisp and clear for everyday tasks. For engineering and design work, accurate color representation is crucial, so laptops with wide color gamuts will provide the truest colors for professionals. However, for gaming and 3D applications, the refresh rate becomes paramount for smooth motion, and while both models don't excel here, other factors like resolution and panel type still contribute to overall image quality, albeit less critically.

"Performance-wise, the GE78 offers a significant boost over the GE77 for just slightly higher power consumption. You'll have to get the RTX 4080 or 4090 configurations to see the performance advantages, however, as the RTX 4070 is closer in performance to the older RTX 3080 Ti. In terms of design, some users might prefer the 16:9 minimalistic look of the older GE77 over the 16:10 retro-inspired GE78 and vice versa. We wouldn't call one better than the other in terms of aesthetics, but we'll give the edge to the GE78 for its stronger hinges and larger keys and clickpad."
"MSI wants to prove that it can do more than just gaming laptops and the Summit E13 Flip is a great example of what the manufacturer is capable of especially in terms of aesthetics and performance. Normally for subnotebooks or convertibles, TDP and performance are often below average as makers want to meet slimmer designs and lower weight targets. The Summit manages to outperform others in its size class and category while still looking sleek and portable in the process. If you want a convertible that won't throttle significantly when under load, then this MSI will be one of the better options you can find."
