The MSI Modern 14 is typically much less expensive and is lighter, making it quite portable; however, it offers lower gaming, 3D and engineering performance compared to the Razer Blade 15. The Razer Blade 15 has a significantly better GPU, which makes it excellent for intensive gaming, 3D rendering, and machine learning tasks, but it is also more expensive and heavier. If you need high performance for specialized tasks and are okay with the additional cost and less portability, go for the Razer Blade 15. On the other hand, if you prioritize budget and portability for everyday use, the MSI Modern 14 may be the better choice. Give Feedback

The Razer Blade 15 has a better screen than the MSI Modern 14 for general use, gaming and AI, engineering and design, content creation, and software development.
For general use, where panel type, resolution, and brightness are key, the MSI Modern 14's screen may appear dull or less sharp compared to the Razer Blade 15's vibrant, brighter and crisper display, making the Razer preferable for everyday tasks and media consumption. In engineering and design, color accuracy is crucial; the Razer Blade 15's screen with broader color gamuts can display a wider range of colors more precisely, which is essential for detail-oriented work, unlike the MSI that may not represent colors as accurately. For gaming and 3D applications, however, both laptops fall short as they lack high refresh rates which are imperative for smooth visuals and gameplay, despite their adequate resolutions and panel types.

"The MSI Modern 14 is okay for school use. It's very compact, so it's easy to carry around. It has a sharp display, a spacious keyboard, and a reasonably large touchpad. Its Intel 13th Gen CPU and integrated graphics can handle general productivity tasks like text processing and web browsing; however, don't expect to do anything intensive like 3D modeling or physics simulations. Unfortunately, the battery lasts less than five hours of light use, and the display doesn't get bright enough to combat glare."
"The 2022 Blade 15 offers roughly 15 to 25 percent faster graphics performance and 20 percent faster CPU performance over last year's Core i7-11800H and RTX 3080 model. Thankfully, the system doesn't need to run noticeably louder or warmer to achieve faster results, but both power consumption and battery life take a hit. The higher consumption in particular appears to be a trend amongst many 12th gen Core laptops including the Schenker Uniwill Technology GM7AG8P or MSI Vector GP66 when compared to their previous generation counterparts. We're also glad to not see below-average CPU performance which was the case for the 10th gen Core i7-10875H model."
