The MSI GP66 Leopard offers high performance for tasks like 3D rendering, machine learning, and engineering, and can handle intensive gaming thanks to a powerful GPU, but it is heavier and has a shorter battery life, making it less portable. On the other hand, the Lenovo ThinkBook 13s is lighter, has a longer battery life, and is very suitable for general use and business applications; it also boasts a higher resolution touchscreen and is more affordable, but the integrated graphics may not be suitable for demanding graphical tasks or gaming. The MSI GP66 Leopard has a better screen than the Lenovo ThinkBook 13s for gaming and AI, while the Lenovo ThinkBook 13s has a better screen for content creation, and software development.
For general use, both the MSI GP66 Leopard and Lenovo ThinkBook 13s offer screens with sufficient resolution and brightness, making text clear and images vivid, which is essential for activities like web browsing and document editing. When considering engineering and design, their color accuracy in rendering a wide range of colors is critical, and both laptops provide decent coverage of professional color gamuts to display consistent and precise colors. However, for gaming and 3D applications where smooth motion is key, the lower refresh rates of these laptops' screens may result in less fluid visuals compared to models designed specifically for these high-motion scenarios.

The Lenovo ThinkBook 13s and MSI GP66 Leopard are both good for general use.
The MSI GP66 Leopard's robust Intel i7 CPU, ample RAM, and high-quality IPS screen with a fast refresh rate cater well to general use, but its bulkier form and shorter battery life lessen its portability. Conversely, the Lenovo ThinkBook 13s, with its capable i7 processor and ample RAM, also suits general use while providing higher screen resolution in a more portable frame and offering a longer battery life, despite a screen that refreshes more slowly and less powerful integrated graphics.

How the MSI GP66 Leopard and the Lenovo ThinkBook 13s compare to other laptops
"The MSI GP66 Leopard is a good budget high-performance gamer. The MSI also does a lot right outside of the pure performance despite it's low price. For example, the adaptive cooling system really surprised us positively, even in Extreme Performance Mode. And the display is not a budget panel either, but at least outshines the competition in terms of brightness. Of course, you also have to accept a few compromises in this price category. These include the Leopard's poor battery runtimes and the less than optimal build quality, which is also noticeable in the more complicated maintenance."
"The best thing about the ThinkBook 13S is that it’s a good deal. Business buyers looking for ThinkPad-level performance and software without ThinkPad pricing will probably find the ThinkBook a solid option. While nothing about it is really spectacular, it’s certainly unusual to see the ThinkBook’s screen resolution at a sub-$1,000 price, and its performance will be more than adequate for most office tasks. The generous port selection, 16:10 aspect ratio, physical webcam shutter, and clear audio are certainly icing on the cake."
