The MSI GP66 Leopard comes at a midrange price and offers solid performance with a less powerful processor and graphics card, making it suitable for general use and gaming, but with limited battery life and storage compared to the MSI Stealth GS77, which is significantly more expensive. The GS77 features a more powerful processor, better graphics card, double the storage, and more RAM, ideal for more demanding tasks like engineering and 3D rendering. It also sports a larger, higher-resolution screen and a substantially longer battery life, but it's heavier and less portable compared to the GP66 Leopard. Give Feedback

The MSI Stealth GS77 is very good for engineering and design, while the MSI GP66 Leopard is good.
The MSI GP66 Leopard, with its strong CPU and high-end GPU, is suitable for engineering and design tasks, but the MSI Stealth GS77 goes further with a more advanced CPU, double the RAM, and a higher resolution and refresh rate screen, enhancing performance in detailed design work. While both have substantial graphics capabilities, the Stealth GS77's larger screen and better color accuracy may provide a more immersive experience for design, at the expense of being less portable and possibly louder due to cooling demands.

The MSI Stealth GS77 has a better screen than the MSI GP66 Leopard for general use, gaming and AI, engineering and design, content creation, and software development.
The MSI GP66 Leopard and MSI Stealth GS77 both boast panels with high resolution and brightness, which provides crisp, clear visuals for everyday tasks and detailed work in engineering and design, ensuring that text is easy to read and colors are accurately represented. However, their displays emphasize color accuracy and panel quality over high refresh rates, which makes them less than ideal for gaming and 3D applications where fluid motion is crucial. The Stealth GS77 edges ahead due to its superior coverage of color gamuts, essential for precision in color-critical engineering and design work, offering deeper and more accurate color reproduction.

How the MSI GP66 Leopard and the MSI Stealth GS77 compare to other laptops
"The MSI GP66 Leopard is a good budget high-performance gamer. The MSI also does a lot right outside of the pure performance despite it's low price. For example, the adaptive cooling system really surprised us positively, even in Extreme Performance Mode. And the display is not a budget panel either, but at least outshines the competition in terms of brightness. Of course, you also have to accept a few compromises in this price category. These include the Leopard's poor battery runtimes and the less than optimal build quality, which is also noticeable in the more complicated maintenance."
"The MSI Stealth GS77 is better than the GS76... mostly. The GS77 is a few steps forward and a few steps back from the GS76. Improvements are numerous including the stronger and more rigid skeleton, higher resolution webcam, larger clickpad, easier serviceability, relatively similar battery runtimes, newer display options, and higher performance at about the same TDP and TGP levels as before. CPU performance is better than expected even when compared to other laptops with Core i7 or Core i9 processors. The newer model feels more substantial than the outgoing one for higher quality impressions as well."
