The MSI GP66 Leopard, being less expensive and more portable, offers solid performance for general use and gaming with a mid-tier graphics card and processor. However, the Raider GE77Hx, despite being more expensive and less portable, boasts a more powerful processor, a higher-resolution and larger display with a superior refresh rate, and substantially longer battery life, making it a better fit for intensive tasks like 3D rendering, machine learning, and engineering work. Both laptops are equipped for gaming, but the Raider has an edge in handling more demanding graphics with its slightly more powerful graphics card. Give Feedback

"The MSI GP66 Leopard is a good budget high-performance gamer. The MSI also does a lot right outside of the pure performance despite it's low price. For example, the adaptive cooling system really surprised us positively, even in Extreme Performance Mode. And the display is not a budget panel either, but at least outshines the competition in terms of brightness. Of course, you also have to accept a few compromises in this price category. These include the Leopard's poor battery runtimes and the less than optimal build quality, which is also noticeable in the more complicated maintenance."
"The MSI Raider GE77 offers a lot of power for a lot of money. The main components consist of a Core i9-12900HX CPU, a GeForce RTX 3080 Ti Laptop GPU (175 watts TGP, 16 GB VRAM), and 64 GB of RAM, which makes for a high overall performance level. The GeForce GPU in particular scores some of the highest scores we have seen from this chip. Both the CPU and the GPU are able to run at continuously high clock speeds. The relatively high heat and noise emissions match our expectations for this device class. With approximately 5.5 to 6.5 hours, the battery life is good for a powerful 4K laptop."
