If portability and battery life are important to you, the MSI Summit E13 Flip Evo is the better choice, as it is lighter and offers longer battery usage on a single charge. It also features a touch screen with higher resolution and aspect ratio, providing sharper images and more screen real estate. However, if you're inclined towards gaming or graphic-intensive tasks, the MSI GF63 Thin, with its dedicated NVIDIA GPU, will handle these tasks better, but you'll compromise on battery life and portability. Both laptops are in a similar price range, with the Summit E13 Flip Evo typically costing a bit more. Consider the Summit E13 Flip Evo for business and general use, and the GF63 Thin for gaming and performance-demanding engineering software. Give Feedback

The MSI Summit E13 Flip Evo is good for general use, while the MSI GF63 Thin is only fair.
The MSI GF63 Thin offers decent performance with an older CPU and sufficient RAM for routine tasks, but its heavier weight and short battery life limit its portability compared to the MSI Summit E13 Flip Evo, which provides a higher-performing CPU, more RAM, and better screen quality, along with being lighter and having a longer-lasting battery, making it a more versatile choice for general use.

The MSI Summit E13 Flip Evo is good for engineering and design, while the MSI GF63 Thin is only fair.
The MSI GF63 Thin is less suited for engineering and design tasks due to its lower-end processor, less RAM, and GTX 1650 Max-Q GPU, which is less powerful compared to the Summit's i7-1260P and its integrated graphics; the GF63 also has a lower quality display than the Summit E13 Flip Evo's higher-resolution, brighter, and more color-accurate screen. The Summit E13 Flip Evo, on the other hand, pairs a more capable processor with double the RAM and a superior screen, which is essential for detailed engineering and design work, while also offering enhanced portability with its lighter weight and longer battery life, despite typically costing more than the GF63 Thin.

The MSI Summit E13 Flip Evo has a better screen than the MSI GF63 Thin for general use, gaming and AI, engineering and design, content creation, and software development.
The MSI GF63 Thin, with its fair screen, may suffice for general tasks and basic engineering work due to an adequate resolution and brightness but lacks the rich color gamuts necessary for precision design tasks. The MSI Summit E13 Flip Evo, with its better resolution and brightness, along with wider color coverage, offers a superior visual experience for general use and professional design applications. However, both laptops fall short for gaming and 3D modeling because they lack the high refresh rates that contribute to smoother visuals and gameplay.

The MSI Summit E13 Flip Evo and MSI GF63 Thin are both only fair for gaming and AI.
The MSI GF63 Thin offers a dedicated Nvidia GTX 1650 Max-Q graphics card, which is better for gaming and 3D tasks than the integrated Intel Iris Xe graphics found on the MSI Summit E13 Flip Evo; however, both have similar 60Hz screen refresh rates which are less ideal for fast-paced games that benefit from higher refresh rates. While the Summit E13's screen quality is better due to higher brightness and color coverage, the GF63 Thin's discrete GPU gives it an edge for graphic-intense activities but may not significantly improve the gaming experience due to the shared 60Hz limitation.

How the MSI GF63 Thin and the MSI Summit E13 Flip Evo compare to other laptops
"If you leave aside the meagre port selection (no card reader, no DisplayPort, no Thunderbolt 3 or USB 3.1 Gen2), the fan control that could be improved (idle mode!) and the relatively dark and slow display, the MSI GF63 Thin 9SC does not have any major weaknesses. The 15-inch gamer is compact, has a low weight and offers a good price-to-performance ratio, which should please gamers that are looking for both a portable and an affordable gaming notebook. Input devices, battery life, case quality and performance are all appropriate for this purchase price."
"MSI wants to prove that it can do more than just gaming laptops and the Summit E13 Flip is a great example of what the manufacturer is capable of especially in terms of aesthetics and performance. Normally for subnotebooks or convertibles, TDP and performance are often below average as makers want to meet slimmer designs and lower weight targets. The Summit manages to outperform others in its size class and category while still looking sleek and portable in the process. If you want a convertible that won't throttle significantly when under load, then this MSI will be one of the better options you can find."
