The Microsoft Surface Laptop Studio 2 is a high-end choice known for its large storage capacity, extensive RAM, and strong processor paired with an RTX 4060 GPU, which means it excels in performance, particularly for engineering tasks and 3D rendering. Its high-resolution touchscreen and 3:2 aspect ratio with a high contrast display benefit creative professionals. With a premium build and features like facial recognition and hardware ray tracing, it is suitable for intensive gaming, but its portability is compromised due to its weight and shorter battery life.
Conversely, the MSI Pulse GL66 comes at a midrange price and has notably shorter battery life. While it has less storage and RAM, its processor combined with an RTX 3070 GPU still delivers strong performance. It's a good fit for general use, gaming, and some engineering, bolstered by its gaming laptop appearance with an RGB backlit keyboard. Although it has a 16:9 aspect ratio which is standard for most tasks and games, its lower screen resolution means it is not as crisp for detailed work as the Surface Laptop Studio 2. Its weight is similar to the Surface, making it less portable as well. If budget is a concern and the requirements are inclined towards general use and mainstream gaming, the MSI Pulse GL66 may be the more cost-effective option. Give Feedback

How the Microsoft Surface Laptop Studio 2 and the MSI Pulse GL66 compare to other laptops
"The new Surface Laptop Studio with its foldable display is supposed to replace the old Surface Book and the overall impression is good after our review. The build quality and the materials are top-notch, the performance utilization of the two components is solid and the device does not show any major flaws in terms of display or speakers, either. The folding mechanism leaves a sold impression as well, but it remains to be seen how it will hold up over the years. The so-called presentation mode is also not ideal since it covers the whole keyboard."
"The MSI Pulse GL66 has a lot of potential for improvement. Although the RTX 3060 is only able to use 105 watts, we still liked the gaming performance, particularly since this also makes the Pulse comfortably efficient but not slow by any means. Neither the dark display with its lame response times, nor USB 2.0 or the lack of Thunderbolt will please real gamers. The use of a sticker factory seal, which is at least questionable, also won't inspire any enthusiasm. It is obvious that the laptop is really designed for price-conscious gamers."
