The MSI Summit E13 Flip Evo and Microsoft Surface Laptop 5 13" are both only fair for gaming and AI.
The Microsoft Surface Laptop 5 and the MSI Summit E13 Flip Evo are both fair for gaming and 3D tasks because they have integrated graphics (Iris Xe) which are not as powerful as dedicated gaming GPUs, and they both have a screen refresh rate of 60Hz, which is acceptable for casual gaming but not optimal for high-end gaming where higher refresh rates can provide smoother visuals. The CPUs in both devices are decent for general use and moderate 3D tasks, but may not perform as well in very demanding scenarios; the screen quality is good for everyday tasks, but professional gamers and 3D designers may prefer screens with higher refresh rates and resolutions.

How the Microsoft Surface Laptop 5 13" and the MSI Summit E13 Flip Evo compare to other laptops
"The Surface Laptop 5 remains afloat as a solid machine. It's just not one that stands out in any particular way. Just like the last one. The biggest upgrade were some new components, but they perform in the same range as other laptops with them, and frequently at the bottom of that range. I suspect Microsoft's settings are very conservative to help keep cooling and battery life within reason in the older chassis design."
"MSI wants to prove that it can do more than just gaming laptops and the Summit E13 Flip is a great example of what the manufacturer is capable of especially in terms of aesthetics and performance. Normally for subnotebooks or convertibles, TDP and performance are often below average as makers want to meet slimmer designs and lower weight targets. The Summit manages to outperform others in its size class and category while still looking sleek and portable in the process. If you want a convertible that won't throttle significantly when under load, then this MSI will be one of the better options you can find."
