When choosing between the LG Gram 17 and the MSI Stealth GS77, consider the following: The LG Gram is lighter and offers longer battery life, which makes it more portable and suitable for general use like browsing, office applications, and watching videos. On the other hand, the MSI Stealth GS77 has a more powerful processor and graphics card, providing better performance for 3D modeling, machine learning tasks, gaming, and engineering software. However, it is heavier and has a shorter battery life, making it less convenient for travel. Expect to pay more for the MSI due to its advanced capabilities, while the LG Gram is less expensive and may be sufficient for less demanding tasks. Give Feedback

The MSI Stealth GS77 has a better screen than the LG Gram 17 for general use, gaming and AI, and engineering and design.
The LG Gram 17, with its high resolution and brightness, offers crisp and vibrant visuals ideal for daily tasks such as browsing, video playback, and document editing, thus ensuring a pleasant general use experience. For engineering and design professionals who require color accuracy for tasks like photo editing, CAD work, and video production, this laptop's coverage of color gamuts like DCI-P3 and Adobe RGB is essential, but the LG Gram falls short for gaming and 3D applications due to its lower refresh rate, which can result in less smooth visuals. The MSI Stealth GS77, while also featuring high resolution and brightness, goes a step further in benefiting engineering and design work with its wider range of accurately represented colors, yet like the LG Gram, its lower refresh rate isn't conducive to the high-frame-rate gaming experience preferred by gamers.

How the LG Gram 17 and the MSI Stealth GS77 compare to other laptops
"The LG Gram 17 is a light office laptop with a large display and great battery life. The newest incarnation of the Gram 17 can be classified as a model update. LG uses the predecessor's compact, light magnesium case along with an identical port configuration (including 2x Thunderbolt 4) and keyboard. Changes can be found in the hardware. With the Gram 17 (2022), LG offers a light (approx. 1,350 g), mobile work device - and finally with a matte display."
"The MSI Stealth GS77 is better than the GS76... mostly. The GS77 is a few steps forward and a few steps back from the GS76. Improvements are numerous including the stronger and more rigid skeleton, higher resolution webcam, larger clickpad, easier serviceability, relatively similar battery runtimes, newer display options, and higher performance at about the same TDP and TGP levels as before. CPU performance is better than expected even when compared to other laptops with Core i7 or Core i9 processors. The newer model feels more substantial than the outgoing one for higher quality impressions as well."
