The LG Gram 17 has a better screen than the MSI Stealth GS66 for software development, and content creation, while the MSI Stealth GS66 has a better screen for gaming and AI.
The LG Gram 17 offers a large, high-resolution display that provides clear and vibrant images for general use, with ample brightness making it easy on the eyes for everyday tasks. For engineering and design, the screen likely covers a wide range of colors, ensuring that designs are accurate and visually precise. However, for gaming and 3D applications, its lower refresh rate would make fast-paced action less smooth, leading to a less immersive experience compared to displays with higher refresh rates.

The MSI Stealth GS66 and LG Gram 17 are both very good for engineering and design.
The LG Gram 17, with its lighter frame and longer battery life, is ideal for on-the-go engineering and design tasks but has integrated graphics, while the MSI Stealth GS66 offers superior processing power and a dedicated GPU, which makes it more suitable for demanding engineering software and tasks that require better graphics performance but is less portable due to its weight and shorter battery life. Screen quality is comparable; however, the MSI Stealth GS66 might not be as vibrant as the LG Gram 17 which offers a higher color space coverage, making the latter more suitable for design work where color accuracy is critical.

How the LG Gram 17 and the MSI Stealth GS66 compare to other laptops
"The LG Gram 17 is a light office laptop with a large display and great battery life. The newest incarnation of the Gram 17 can be classified as a model update. LG uses the predecessor's compact, light magnesium case along with an identical port configuration (including 2x Thunderbolt 4) and keyboard. Changes can be found in the hardware. With the Gram 17 (2022), LG offers a light (approx. 1,350 g), mobile work device - and finally with a matte display."
"The MSI Stealth GS66 is powerful enough for QHD. The Core i7-12700H and the GeForce RTX 3070 Ti found in the 12UGS model that we tested run all modern games smoothly in the native QHD resolution. The 15-inch display is very fast with its 240 Hz refresh rate, and it also offers a great color space (almost 100% DCI-P3) on top of that, which should please gamers as well as content creators, although we would have still wished for a higher brightness. Case, input devices, and connectivity (Thunderbolt 4) are at a good level. However, among other things, the GS66 loses points due to the high temperature development in 3D mode and its poor webcam."
