The LG Gram 17 is a good fit if you're looking for a lightweight and portable laptop with a midrange price and long battery life, suitable for general use and non-intensive engineering tasks. However, the MSI Raider GE76, while heavier and pricier with a shorter battery life, offers superior performance for 3D rendering, machine learning, and gaming, thanks to a robust graphics card. Consider the LG Gram 17 if mobility and battery are priorities, and the Raider GE76 if high-performance computing and gaming are more critical to your needs. Give Feedback

The MSI Raider GE76 is very good for gaming and AI, while the LG Gram 17 is only fair.
The LG Gram 17, with its Intel Iris Xe graphics, is suitable for gaming and 3D applications but falls short compared to the MSI Raider GE76, which boasts a more powerful Nvidia RTX 3080 Ti GPU that excels in these tasks. Also, the MSI laptop has a much higher screen refresh rate, making it far superior for fast-paced gaming where screen fluidity is critical.

The MSI Raider GE76 is excellent for engineering and design, while the LG Gram 17 is very good.
The LG Gram 17 is well-regarded for engineering and design due to its high-resolution IPS screen, ample RAM, and a decent CPU, making it suitable for tasks that require both detail and multitasking; however, its integrated GPU falls short for more graphics-intensive applications. The MSI Raider GE76, on the other hand, boasts a superior CPU, top-tier dedicated GPU, and high-quality screen, offering exceptional performance for demanding engineering software and design work, albeit at the cost of being significantly heavier and less portable.

The MSI Raider GE76 has a better screen than the LG Gram 17 for general use, gaming and AI, and engineering and design.
The LG Gram 17 has ample brightness and resolution that benefits general use and engineering tasks, ensuring crisp, clear images and accurate color representation, which is significant for both viewing documents and detailed design work. However, its lower refresh rate can hinder the smooth visuals required for high-paced gaming and 3D applications. The MSI Raider GE76 also offers high resolution and brightness, with the added advantage of excellent color gamut coverage necessary for professional engineering and design work; but like the LG Gram, its refresh rate may not meet the standards needed for optimal gaming and 3D experiences.

How the LG Gram 17 and the MSI Raider GE76 compare to other laptops
"The LG Gram 17 is a light office laptop with a large display and great battery life. The newest incarnation of the Gram 17 can be classified as a model update. LG uses the predecessor's compact, light magnesium case along with an identical port configuration (including 2x Thunderbolt 4) and keyboard. Changes can be found in the hardware. With the Gram 17 (2022), LG offers a light (approx. 1,350 g), mobile work device - and finally with a matte display."
"The MSI Raider GE76: with Alder Lake and RTX 3080 Ti to gaming heaven. Yes, MSI could improve some aspects (like the quality of the webcam), but the manufacturer offers a very convincing and balanced overall package. The biggest advantage is definitely the immense performance potential. The combination of Core i9-12900HK, GeForce RTX 3080 Ti, 32 GB DDR5 RAM and two NVMe SSDs offers a lot of performance for the next couple of years and plenty of power for 3D applications. Most titles would run smoothly on an external 4K screen no matter the quality preset. We came away impressed with the integrated 360 Hz panel's fast response times and good color accuracy."
