The LG Gram 17 offers better battery life, is significantly lighter for enhanced portability, has a larger screen and higher resolution, and comes with more storage space and RAM, making it better suited for general use, multitasking, and productivity tasks. However, the MSI Cyborg 15, while heavier and with a smaller screen, includes a dedicated graphics card that significantly outperforms the LG Gram 17's integrated graphics. This makes it more suitable for 3D rendering, gaming, and machine learning tasks, though it sacrifices screen size, resolution, and battery life in comparison. The MSI is generally less expensive, so if budget and gaming or graphics performance are a priority, it may be the better choice. Give Feedback

The LG Gram 17 has a better screen than the MSI Cyborg 15 for general use, engineering and design, software development, and content creation.
The LG Gram 17, with its higher resolution and bright screen, offers crisp and clear visuals, making it superior for general use and intricate engineering tasks that benefit from sharp details and vibrant colors. Its comprehensive color gamuts provide accuracy crucial for design work, where precise color reproduction can be critical. However, for gaming and 3D applications, the LG Gram's lower refresh rate may lead to less fluid motion, which is less optimal for fast-paced visuals compared to laptops designed with higher refresh rates specifically for these purposes.

How the LG Gram 17 and the MSI Cyborg 15 compare to other laptops
"The LG Gram 17 is a light office laptop with a large display and great battery life. The newest incarnation of the Gram 17 can be classified as a model update. LG uses the predecessor's compact, light magnesium case along with an identical port configuration (including 2x Thunderbolt 4) and keyboard. Changes can be found in the hardware. With the Gram 17 (2022), LG offers a light (approx. 1,350 g), mobile work device - and finally with a matte display."
"The focus of the MSI Cyborg 15 lies on a compromise of performance, mobility, and power consumption. Due to the reduced performance settings, the CPU and GPU perform below their capabilities. Nonetheless, their computing power is still sufficient for FHD gaming at high to maximum settings even then. The power consumption, which is low for a gaming laptop, can be translated into a good battery life. Realistic values of 7 to 8 h are still possible, despite the relatively small battery capacity of 53.5 Wh. Unfortunately the USB-C port doesn't offer any support for Power Delivery, which would be a sensible feature in the case of the Cyborg."
