The Lenovo V15 is a budget-friendly choice that could save you some money. It's lighter and will last longer on a single charge, making it more portable and suitable for general use or light tasks. However, its performance, especially for tasks requiring good graphics like gaming or certain engineering applications, won't match the MSI GF63 Thin, which has a dedicated graphics card and a slightly better processor. The MSI also comes with a better-quality IPS display, good for better viewing angles and color reproduction. "The strengths of the Lenovo V15 G2 AMD lie in its expandability of the RAM and allowing you to use two SSDs, in its performance that goes beyond everyday applications thanks to AMD's hexa-core CPU and Vega-7 iGPU, in its good keyboard, and its relatively robust case. In addition, the battery life of the office laptop is also acceptable, and the device stays cool and relatively quiet."

"If you leave aside the meagre port selection (no card reader, no DisplayPort, no Thunderbolt 3 or USB 3.1 Gen2), the fan control that could be improved (idle mode!) and the relatively dark and slow display, the MSI GF63 Thin 9SC does not have any major weaknesses. The 15-inch gamer is compact, has a low weight and offers a good price-to-performance ratio, which should please gamers that are looking for both a portable and an affordable gaming notebook. Input devices, battery life, case quality and performance are all appropriate for this purchase price."
