The Lenovo ThinkPad T14 is very good for general use, while the Lenovo ThinkBook 13s is good.
The Lenovo ThinkPad T14 with its higher-end CPU and more RAM excels in handling demanding applications and multitasking, making it very good for a range of intensive tasks, whereas the ThinkBook 13s, while still performing well for general use, offers a balance between performance and portability with a focus on a quality screen and longer battery life. Both laptops provide adequate storage, solid keyboard and speaker quality, and manage operating noise and heat well, tilting the scale in favor of the T14 for more robust needs and the ThinkBook 13s for users prioritizing on-the-go usage with a lighter device.

The Lenovo ThinkPad T14 and Lenovo ThinkBook 13s are both only fair for gaming and AI.
The Lenovo ThinkPad T14 and ThinkBook 13s have integrated graphics which handle casual gaming and basic 3D tasks, but they won't provide the smooth, high-detail gaming experience a dedicated GPU would offer. Both models offer decent display quality, but their screen refresh rates are lower compared to gaming-specific laptops, which could lead to less fluid visuals during fast-paced games or high-intensity 3D applications.

How the Lenovo ThinkPad T14 and the Lenovo ThinkBook 13s compare to other laptops
"We like a lot about this laptop. It has many ports, with the inclusion of RJ45-Ethernet as a defining feature. WWAN is upgradable for maximum flexibility and the ThinkPad has many security functions. Working with the ThinkPad input devices is a lot of fun, and Lenovo puts in a serviceable Low Power panel. The AMD Ryzen 7 Pro 7840U delivers a great performance and does not drain the battery fast. Fan noise and temperatures are nothing special, but also far away from bad. With the user replaceable keyboard, the ThinkPad T14 Gen 4 has a special feature rarely present on most modern laptops."
"The best thing about the ThinkBook 13S is that it’s a good deal. Business buyers looking for ThinkPad-level performance and software without ThinkPad pricing will probably find the ThinkBook a solid option. While nothing about it is really spectacular, it’s certainly unusual to see the ThinkBook’s screen resolution at a sub-$1,000 price, and its performance will be more than adequate for most office tasks. The generous port selection, 16:10 aspect ratio, physical webcam shutter, and clear audio are certainly icing on the cake."
