If you're looking for a laptop that's more budget-friendly and suitable for everyday tasks and business use, the Lenovo ThinkPad T14 is a solid choice known for its durability and good keyboard. However, if you're into high-end gaming, 3D rendering, or require a machine that supports intensive multitasking and application use, the MSI Stealth GS77 delivers superior performance but at a higher cost and with less emphasis on portability and battery life. Keep in mind that the MSI will be heavier and less suited for frequent travel. Give Feedback

The MSI Stealth GS77 is good for gaming and AI, while the Lenovo ThinkPad T14 is only fair.
The MSI Stealth GS77 comes equipped with a higher-end GPU and a higher screen refresh rate, which are crucial for smooth gameplay and rendering 3D graphics, making it better suited for gaming and 3D applications. While the Lenovo ThinkPad T14 offers a decent CPU and screen quality, its GPU and screen refresh rate are not as advanced, which means it won't handle gaming and 3D tasks as effectively.

The MSI Stealth GS77 has a better screen than the Lenovo ThinkPad T14 for general use, gaming and AI, and engineering and design.
When considering laptops for general use, the Lenovo ThinkPad T14's screen offers a balance of resolution and brightness, providing a clear and vivid display that enhances everyday tasks like browsing and document editing. For engineering and design, its screen falls short due to limited color gamut coverage, making it less ideal for precise color work necessary in those fields. On the other hand, the MSI Stealth GS77's higher color gamut suits engineering and design well but lacks the high refresh rate desired for smooth visuals in gaming and 3D applications.

How the Lenovo ThinkPad T14 and the MSI Stealth GS77 compare to other laptops
"We like a lot about this laptop. It has many ports, with the inclusion of RJ45-Ethernet as a defining feature. WWAN is upgradable for maximum flexibility and the ThinkPad has many security functions. Working with the ThinkPad input devices is a lot of fun, and Lenovo puts in a serviceable Low Power panel. The AMD Ryzen 7 Pro 7840U delivers a great performance and does not drain the battery fast. Fan noise and temperatures are nothing special, but also far away from bad. With the user replaceable keyboard, the ThinkPad T14 Gen 4 has a special feature rarely present on most modern laptops."
"The MSI Stealth GS77 is better than the GS76... mostly. The GS77 is a few steps forward and a few steps back from the GS76. Improvements are numerous including the stronger and more rigid skeleton, higher resolution webcam, larger clickpad, easier serviceability, relatively similar battery runtimes, newer display options, and higher performance at about the same TDP and TGP levels as before. CPU performance is better than expected even when compared to other laptops with Core i7 or Core i9 processors. The newer model feels more substantial than the outgoing one for higher quality impressions as well."
