If your priority is portability and better battery life, the Lenovo Slim Pro 9i is lighter, offers a sharper display with touch capabilities, and is considered more suitable for engineering tasks with its robust GPU. However, it generally costs more. On the other hand, the MSI GP66 Leopard provides solid performance for general use and gaming at a lower price but is heavier, which affects portability, and has a lower battery life. Its high-end GPU is great for gaming but it lacks a touch screen, and the screen displays less color range compared to the Lenovo. The right choice depends on whether portability and display quality are more important to you than gaming performance and price. Give Feedback

The Lenovo Slim Pro 9i is very good for general use, while the MSI GP66 Leopard is good.
The Lenovo Slim Pro 9i excels in general use thanks to its high-resolution mini LED touchscreen, extensive color coverage, larger battery, and more RAM and storage, all in a premium, portable design with a good balance of performance and battery life. In contrast, the MSI GP66 Leopard, designed with a gaming appearance, offers a high-end GPU and excellent heat management for sustained performance, but has a standard IPS screen, less battery capacity, lower resolution, less storage, and is comparatively less portable due to its greater weight.

The Lenovo Slim Pro 9i is very good for engineering and design, while the MSI GP66 Leopard is good.
The Lenovo Slim Pro 9i shines in engineering and design applications due to its more powerful CPU, higher RAM capacity, and superior screen quality with better resolution and color accuracy, which is essential for detail-oriented tasks. On the other hand, the MSI GP66 Leopard, with its high-end GPU, caters well to engineering but may fall short for design tasks that require the finer screen detail and color representation that the Lenovo offers, despite the MSI's advantage in graphics processing.

The Lenovo Slim Pro 9i has a better screen than the MSI GP66 Leopard for general use, gaming and AI, engineering and design, software development, and content creation.
If you prioritize a vivid display for everyday tasks or professional design work, the Lenovo Slim Pro 9i stands out with its high resolution and brightness, and wide color gamuts, making colors pop with accuracy. Conversely, while the MSI GP66 Leopard has a decent display for daily activities and supports a good color range for design work, its visuals aren't as striking as the Lenovo's. However, both laptops fall short for gaming and 3D applications as they lack high refresh rates needed for smooth motion, making them less ideal for fast-paced visual content.

How the Lenovo Slim Pro 9i and the MSI GP66 Leopard compare to other laptops
"The Lenovo Slim Pro 9i is an impressive laptop with a brilliant Mini-LED display, a powerful 100-watt version of Nvidia RTX 4050 graphics, and excellent connectivity. Having run the Cinebench benchmark again, we were impressed with the CPU performance. That makes the Slim Pro 9i is an easy recommendation, especially for those who care about GPU and CPU performance. It’s also a fantastic choice if you frequently view HDR movies and games on your laptop."
"The MSI GP66 Leopard is a good budget high-performance gamer. The MSI also does a lot right outside of the pure performance despite it's low price. For example, the adaptive cooling system really surprised us positively, even in Extreme Performance Mode. And the display is not a budget panel either, but at least outshines the competition in terms of brightness. Of course, you also have to accept a few compromises in this price category. These include the Leopard's poor battery runtimes and the less than optimal build quality, which is also noticeable in the more complicated maintenance."
