Choosing between the Lenovo LOQ 16 and the MSI Cyborg 15 involves several key considerations. The Lenovo offers more RAM, which is better for multitasking and demanding applications. Its battery is also larger, possibly providing longer use before needing to recharge. The MSI, while offering slightly less memory, has a newer generation GPU that may offer improved graphics performance, which could be beneficial for gaming or 3D work. The MSI is also lighter, enhancing its portability. Both laptops have similar screen sizes, but the Lenovo has a higher resolution and different aspect ratio that might offer more vertical space, beneficial for tasks like coding or reading documents. If portability and gaming are priorities, the MSI could be preferable, but for heavy multitasking and productivity that benefits from more RAM and screen space, the Lenovo might be the better option. The Lenovo LOQ 16 has a better screen than the MSI Cyborg 15 for general use, gaming and AI, engineering and design, and software development.
The Lenovo LOQ 16 likely offers a vibrant and sharp display with higher resolution and brightness that makes it appealing for general use and suitable for detailed engineering work due to its wide color range. However, its slower refresh rate disappoints in fast-paced gaming and 3D applications where motion clarity is crucial. In contrast, the MSI Cyborg 15 might offer a balanced display that's adequate for everyday tasks and CAD work, but, like the Lenovo, falls short for gaming due to a less responsive screen.

How the Lenovo LOQ 16 and the MSI Cyborg 15 compare to other laptops
"Gaming laptops with an RTX 4060 are available starting from about 1,000 Euros (~$1,060), even in 16-inch format. For the supposedly affordable Lenovo LOQ 16 (1,500 Euros, ~$1,591), the manufacturer particularly saves in the equipment and materials compared to the more expensive Legion series. In addition, the LOQ is slightly heavier and more bulky. What remains is anything but a laptop full of difficult compromises. Instead, this is a more than solid gaming laptop that focusses on the 3D performance.Q is slightly heavier and more bulky."
"The focus of the MSI Cyborg 15 lies on a compromise of performance, mobility, and power consumption. Due to the reduced performance settings, the CPU and GPU perform below their capabilities. Nonetheless, their computing power is still sufficient for FHD gaming at high to maximum settings even then. The power consumption, which is low for a gaming laptop, can be translated into a good battery life. Realistic values of 7 to 8 h are still possible, despite the relatively small battery capacity of 53.5 Wh. Unfortunately the USB-C port doesn't offer any support for Power Delivery, which would be a sensible feature in the case of the Cyborg."
