The Lenovo LOQ 15i is a solid choice for a balance of performance and price, offering a dedicated Nvidia RTX 4060 GPU which is great for gaming, 3D rendering, and machine learning tasks, alongside a high refresh rate screen that's beneficial for fast-motion content. However, it's heavier and has a shorter battery life compared to the LG Gram 17. On the other hand, the LG Gram 17 is pricier but provides a larger, higher resolution display with better color accuracy, making it excellent for general use and productivity. It's also much more portable due to its lighter weight and longer battery life, but it lacks the dedicated GPU, which means it's not as suitable for intensive gaming or heavy graphical work. If you prioritize performance for gaming and engineering tasks and don't mind a bulkier device with less battery life, go for the Lenovo. If you value portability, a larger screen for productivity, and longer battery life, the LG Gram 17 is the better option. Give Feedback

PCMag

Mark Knapp | August 2023
"Even after a short time with the LOQ 15, you'll find it has a lot going for it, but ultimately it's just "good"—not quite a star. The performance is respectable for the hardware it’s running, but Lenovo had to make some design sacrifices to trim the price. One of the better aspects is the keyboard, making it one of the better low-cost gaming laptops to actually put your hands on."

NotebookCheck

Sascha Mölck | August 2022
"The LG Gram 17 is a light office laptop with a large display and great battery life. The newest incarnation of the Gram 17 can be classified as a model update. LG uses the predecessor's compact, light magnesium case along with an identical port configuration (including 2x Thunderbolt 4) and keyboard. Changes can be found in the hardware. With the Gram 17 (2022), LG offers a light (approx. 1,350 g), mobile work device - and finally with a matte display."
