The Lenovo Legion Slim 7 16" is a better choice if you need high performance for tasks like 3D rendering, machine learning, and engineering work, alongside gaming capabilities, with its powerful AMD processor and Nvidia graphics. However, it's heavier, thicker, and has shorter battery life compared to the Razer Book 13. On the other hand, the Razer Book 13, with its Intel processor and integrated Iris Xe graphics, is highly portable, offers a longer battery life, and is a solid choice for general use, but it's not suited for intensive gaming or heavy-duty tasks. It also has a smaller screen and a higher resolution, which could be beneficial for sharpness and clarity. Both laptops are similarly priced with a midrange tag, but if portability and battery life are your priority, go for the Razer Book; if performance and gaming are more important, opt for the Lenovo Legion Slim 7. The Lenovo Legion Slim 7 16" is very good for general use, while the Razer Book 13 is good.
The Lenovo Legion Slim 7 offers a larger screen with a higher refresh rate, which alongside its dedicated graphics card makes it better suited for tasks that can leverage a more powerful GPU, but it's heavier and has a shorter battery life compared to the Razer Book 13, which is lighter and more portable with a significantly longer battery life, making it a great option for productivity on the go despite having a smaller screen and integrated graphics. Both laptops have similar RAM and high-quality screens, but the Lenovo's high performance for general use is balanced by its bulkier form and shorter battery life, while the Razer Book 13 excels in portability and longevity unplugged, despite being less suited for graphics-intensive applications.

The Lenovo Legion Slim 7 16" is very good for gaming and AI, while the Razer Book 13 is only fair.
The Lenovo Legion Slim 7 16" boasts a high-performance Nvidia RTX 4060 GPU and a screen with a very high refresh rate, making it ideal for seamless gaming and 3D experiences. In contrast, the Razer Book 13 is equipped with a less powerful Intel Iris Xe GPU and a lower refresh rate screen, which means it offers a more basic gaming performance and isn't as suitable for demanding 3D tasks.

The Lenovo Legion Slim 7 16" is very good for engineering and design, while the Razer Book 13 is good.
The Lenovo Legion Slim 7 16" is highly suitable for engineering and design due to its powerful AMD Ryzen processor, high-quality NVIDIA GPU, larger high-resolution display, and sizable storage, which support demanding tasks and complex visual work; however, it's somewhat less portable and has a lower portability score compared to the Razer Book 13, which still offers a high-quality display and excellent portability but has less storage and relies on integrated graphics, making it less optimal for the most intensive engineering and design applications.

The Lenovo Legion Slim 7 has a better screen than the Razer Book 13 for general use, gaming and AI, engineering and design, software development, and content creation.
If you value a display that's bright and clear for everyday tasks, the Lenovo Legion Slim's superior brightness and resolution make it a better option than the Razer Book 13. For engineering and design work where color accuracy is critical, the Lenovo again edges ahead with a wider color gamut, providing richer and more precise colors. However, for gaming and 3D applications, both laptops fall short due to lower refresh rates, which can make fast-paced visuals less smooth and immersive compared to displays optimized for these activities.

How the Lenovo Legion Slim 7 16" and the Razer Book 13 compare to other laptops
"The Lenovo Legion Slim 7 is a slim Legion notebook that is just as excellent with Nvidia & Intel. However, the Legion Slim 7i slightly sullied by lacklustre battery life. You get a slim aluminium chassis, great input devices, decent port selection, fast high-quality WQXGA display and great performance. Supporting Thunderbolt 4 is one advantage of the Intel/Nvidia model tested in this review. Moreover, this variant has slightly higher CPU performance as well as better GPU performance in certain applications (e.g. CUDA-based apps). The Lenovo Legion S7i is thin, premium and performant – but less efficient than its AMD counterpart."
"The Razer Book is like an XPS 13, but faster. The Book 13 combines the design philosophy and performance of a Blade Stealth with the 16:10 display of a Dell XPS 13 for an impressive piece of hardware. Office users who want something more stylish than the typical Dell, HP or Lenovo will certainly find themselves drawn to this Razer subnotebook. If your priorities are to have the best-looking and fastest 13-inch laptop in the office over auxiliary features, however, then the Book 13 proudly fulfills that niche."
