For a balance of performance and portability with a high-quality display suited for engineering tasks and gaming, the Lenovo Legion Slim 7 16" is a strong choice, despite its higher price point. It offers a more powerful GPU and CPU, a higher resolution and refresh rate screen, and better color accuracy, which is crucial for detailed work and immersive gaming. However, if budget is a concern and you're looking for a capable machine for general use and light gaming, the Lenovo LOQ 16i is a more cost-effective option with a decent performance that won't break the bank. It's also slightly more portable due to its lighter weight, making it a good everyday companion. Give Feedback

How the Lenovo Legion Slim 7 16" and the Lenovo LOQ 16i compare to other laptops
"The Lenovo Legion Slim 7 is a slim Legion notebook that is just as excellent with Nvidia & Intel. However, the Legion Slim 7i slightly sullied by lacklustre battery life. You get a slim aluminium chassis, great input devices, decent port selection, fast high-quality WQXGA display and great performance. Supporting Thunderbolt 4 is one advantage of the Intel/Nvidia model tested in this review. Moreover, this variant has slightly higher CPU performance as well as better GPU performance in certain applications (e.g. CUDA-based apps). The Lenovo Legion S7i is thin, premium and performant – but less efficient than its AMD counterpart."
"Gaming laptops with an RTX 4060 are available starting from about 1,000 Euros (~$1,060), even in 16-inch format. For the supposedly affordable Lenovo LOQ 16 (1,500 Euros, ~$1,591), the manufacturer particularly saves in the equipment and materials compared to the more expensive Legion series. In addition, the LOQ is slightly heavier and more bulky. What remains is anything but a laptop full of difficult compromises. Instead, this is a more than solid gaming laptop that focusses on the 3D performance.Q is slightly heavier and more bulky."
