The Lenovo Legion Slim 7 has a better screen than the Lenovo LOQ 16 for general use, gaming and AI, and engineering and design.
The Lenovo Legion Slim 7's screen features high resolution and brightness, making it clear and easy to read for everyday tasks, and its color gamut coverage ensures accurate color representation for engineering and design work. However, its lower refresh rate may cause motion blur and less smooth visuals, which can detract from the experience in fast-paced gaming and 3D applications. The Lenovo LOQ 16 shares similar attributes, offering solid performance for general use and professional design tasks, but like the Legion Slim 7, it falls short for gaming due to the same limitation on refresh rate.

How the Lenovo Legion Slim 7 15.6" and the Lenovo LOQ 16 compare to other laptops
"The Lenovo Legion Slim 7 is a slim Legion notebook that is just as excellent with Nvidia & Intel. However, the Legion Slim 7i slightly sullied by lacklustre battery life. You get a slim aluminium chassis, great input devices, decent port selection, fast high-quality WQXGA display and great performance. Supporting Thunderbolt 4 is one advantage of the Intel/Nvidia model tested in this review. Moreover, this variant has slightly higher CPU performance as well as better GPU performance in certain applications (e.g. CUDA-based apps). The Lenovo Legion S7i is thin, premium and performant – but less efficient than its AMD counterpart."
"Gaming laptops with an RTX 4060 are available starting from about 1,000 Euros (~$1,060), even in 16-inch format. For the supposedly affordable Lenovo LOQ 16 (1,500 Euros, ~$1,591), the manufacturer particularly saves in the equipment and materials compared to the more expensive Legion series. In addition, the LOQ is slightly heavier and more bulky. What remains is anything but a laptop full of difficult compromises. Instead, this is a more than solid gaming laptop that focusses on the 3D performance.Q is slightly heavier and more bulky."
