The Lenovo Legion 9i could be a better choice if you value a balance of high performance and portability as it is lighter and slightly smaller than the MSI Titan GT77, while still offering great performance including hardware ray tracing and DLSS which are useful for gaming and creative applications. However, the MSI Titan GT77 offers more storage, double the RAM, and a larger screen size with a higher resolution, making it more suitable for intensive engineering tasks, 3D rendering, machine learning, and gaming at the expense of being heavier and slightly less portable. Both laptops are similar in terms of their high-end processors and powerful GPUs, have excellent build quality, and are equipped with Mini LED displays which provide superior contrast, but the MSI offers a better contrast ratio. If long battery life is important, note that neither of these laptops excel in that area. The new MSI Titan GT77 will most likely only reach a very small group of users due to the high price, but it is still an impressive showcase of what is possible.
