The Lenovo Legion 5i Pro is a midrange gaming laptop that is heavier and thicker than the Samsung Galaxy Book3 360, which is a convertible laptop with a touchscreen and lower price tag. The Legion benefits from a high-performance graphics card, making it better suited for intensive gaming, 3D rendering, machine learning, and engineering tasks. However, it is less portable due to its weight. On the other hand, the Galaxy Book3 360, with its OLED screen, is more stylish, lighter, and provides a better battery life, making it more suitable for general use and portability, though it lacks the power needed for heavy computing tasks. How the Lenovo Legion Pro 5i and the Samsung Galaxy Book3 360 compare to other laptops
"The midpriced Lenovo Legion Pro 5i Gen 8 follows some of our favorite gaming machines, including last year's model and the higher-end Legion Pro 7i Gen 8 tested earlier this year. But pedigree doesn't count for much in the computer world, and gaming laptops require a certain level of power and graphics performance to justify their prices. The Pro 5i Gen 8 just doesn't do that, offering middling CPU and GPU performance rather than the sort of muscle that would make it a great value."
"The Samsung Galaxy Book 3 360 isn’t a laptop that the Korean manufacturer has shouted from the rooftops about, and it seems to have gotten little attention from anywhere. But, it is absolutely a laptop worth paying attention to. Compared to higher-priced devices, like the Dell XPS 13 (2022) and Asus Zenbook S 13 OLED (2023), it manages to offer a similar day-to-day experience despite the price difference. It’s really hard to justify the extra cash unless a boosted display is a requirement of yours."
