If you prioritize gaming or engineering applications, the Lenovo Legion 5i Pro, with its powerful dedicated graphics card, would provide significantly better performance for these activities. However, it's heavier and has a shorter battery life, making it less portable than the Razer Book 13, which is lighter and has longer battery life but less suited for intensive tasks due to its integrated graphics. The Razer Book 13 would be an excellent choice for general use and business tasks, offering a high-resolution touchscreen and a robust build, whereas the Lenovo has a larger screen and a high refresh rate ideal for fast-paced games. PCMag

Brian Westover | August 2023
"The midpriced Lenovo Legion Pro 5i Gen 8 follows some of our favorite gaming machines, including last year's model and the higher-end Legion Pro 7i Gen 8 tested earlier this year. But pedigree doesn't count for much in the computer world, and gaming laptops require a certain level of power and graphics performance to justify their prices. The Pro 5i Gen 8 just doesn't do that, offering middling CPU and GPU performance rather than the sort of muscle that would make it a great value."

NotebookCheck

Allen Ngo | December 2020
"The Razer Book is like an XPS 13, but faster. The Book 13 combines the design philosophy and performance of a Blade Stealth with the 16:10 display of a Dell XPS 13 for an impressive piece of hardware. Office users who want something more stylish than the typical Dell, HP or Lenovo will certainly find themselves drawn to this Razer subnotebook. If your priorities are to have the best-looking and fastest 13-inch laptop in the office over auxiliary features, however, then the Book 13 proudly fulfills that niche."
