If you prioritize gaming or other graphics-intensive activities, the Lenovo Legion 5i Pro with its more advanced GPU is a stronger choice, but it's heavier and has shorter battery life. On the other hand, the LG Ultra 13 is much lighter and offers longer battery life, making it better suited for travel and general use, yet it doesn't have the gaming or engineering performance of the Lenovo. The Lenovo is also typically more expensive, so if budget is a concern and your primary use doesn't require intense graphics power, the LG could meet your needs. Both laptops are competent for general use; your choice should align with your specific needs regarding mobility, battery life, and performance. Give Feedback

The Lenovo Legion Pro 5i has a better screen than the LG Ultra 13 for general use, gaming and AI, engineering and design, software development, and content creation.
When considering screen quality for general use, factors like panel type, resolution, and brightness are crucial; the Lenovo Legion Pro 5i excels in these aspects offering a vivid and sharp display that enhances everyday tasks. The LG Ultra 13 also provides a pleasant viewing experience with good resolution and brightness, but it doesn't quite match the Lenovo in visual fidelity. For engineering and design, both laptops deliver respectable color accuracy, but the Lenovo has the edge with better coverage of color gamuts like DCI-P3 and Adobe RGB, making it more suitable for color-critical tasks; however, for gaming and 3D needs where high refresh rates are key, both laptops fall short, making them less ideal for fast-paced visual content.

How the Lenovo Legion Pro 5i and the LG Ultra 13 compare to other laptops
"The midpriced Lenovo Legion Pro 5i Gen 8 follows some of our favorite gaming machines, including last year's model and the higher-end Legion Pro 7i Gen 8 tested earlier this year. But pedigree doesn't count for much in the computer world, and gaming laptops require a certain level of power and graphics performance to justify their prices. The Pro 5i Gen 8 just doesn't do that, offering middling CPU and GPU performance rather than the sort of muscle that would make it a great value."
"The 13.3-inch LG Gram is a fine fit if you need to travel as light as possible for as long as possible without spending a fortune to do it. It might not be particularly sturdy or have an eye-catching design and its webcam is less than ideal, but with its sharp touch display, comfortable backlit keyboard, responsive touchpad and a fingerprint reader for extra security, the Gram makes a respectible everyday laptop for business or school work."
