If you prioritize gaming or demanding engineering software, the Lenovo Legion 5 15" with its more powerful dedicated graphics card is your best bet; however, it's heavier and larger, making it less portable than the slimmer Razer Book 13. The Razer Book, with its integrated graphics, is suited for general use and falls short for intensive tasks but offers better portability due to its lighter weight and smaller size. Both have similar memory and storage, but the Lenovo has a higher-resolution and larger display. Choose Razer for portability and day-to-day tasks, or Lenovo for performance-intensive activities, even with a slight price increase. Give Feedback

The Lenovo Legion 5 15" is good for gaming and AI, while the Razer Book 13 is only fair.
The Lenovo Legion 5 15" is better suited for gaming and 3D applications due to its powerful Nvidia RTX 4060 GPU and a higher screen refresh rate, making it ideal for smooth and graphic-intensive tasks. In contrast, the Razer Book 13, while also strong in performance with an Intel Iris Xe GPU, falls short in gaming and 3D performance because its integrated graphics and lower refresh rate are less equipped to handle demanding visual content.

The Lenovo Legion 5 15" is very good for engineering and design, while the Razer Book 13 is good.
The Lenovo Legion 5's more powerful AMD Ryzen processor and Nvidia RTX GPU make it better suited for engineering and design tasks that demand more computing and graphics processing power, along with a larger high-refresh rate screen which is ideal for detail-oriented work. In contrast, the Razer Book 13, while also competent for engineering tasks with its Intel i7 processor and integrated graphics, offers the benefits of greater portability and a touchscreen, making it a better fit for users who prioritize mobility and interactive screen use.

The Lenovo Legion 5 15" has a better screen than the Razer Book 13 for general use, gaming and AI, and engineering and design, while the Razer Book 13 has a better screen for content creation.
For general use, both the Lenovo Legion 5 and the Razer Book 13 offer displays with good resolution and panel types that provide clear images and good brightness, making them suitable for daily tasks like browsing and video streaming. When it comes to engineering and design, these laptops have screens that support a wide range of colors, which is crucial for professionals who need accurate color representation for their work. However, for gaming and 3D applications, the lower refresh rates on both laptops mean less smooth visuals, which can be a disadvantage for fast-paced games or intensive 3D modeling that benefit from higher refresh rates.

How the Lenovo Legion 5 15" and the Razer Book 13 compare to other laptops
"The Lenovo Legion 5 15 is an affordable gaming laptop with a lot of power. The new AMD processor Ryzen 7 5800H offers plenty of performance and it is also very efficient. The combination with the fast 130W version of the GeForce RTX 3060 ensures high gaming performance. We also like the fast 165 Hz display with the 1080p resolution. The automatic graphics switching causes some problems with stutters, which are very annoying. If you do not need long battery runtimes, you should definitely deactivate the hybrid graphics mode in Lenovo's Vantage app. The Legion 5 15 is never silent."
"The Razer Book is like an XPS 13, but faster. The Book 13 combines the design philosophy and performance of a Blade Stealth with the 16:10 display of a Dell XPS 13 for an impressive piece of hardware. Office users who want something more stylish than the typical Dell, HP or Lenovo will certainly find themselves drawn to this Razer subnotebook. If your priorities are to have the best-looking and fastest 13-inch laptop in the office over auxiliary features, however, then the Book 13 proudly fulfills that niche."
