If portability and battery life are crucial, consider the LG Gram 17, which is lighter and has a longer battery life than the Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 7i Pro. However, the IdeaPad offers better performance for engineering, 3D rendering, or machine learning tasks despite being less portable and having shorter battery life. The LG Gram has a larger screen, which is great for multitasking and general use, but neither laptop is suitable for intensive gaming. The LG Gram is typically more expensive but comes with more storage and RAM, whereas the IdeaPad is often less expensive. When choosing, consider if the performance and larger display of the LG Gram justify the higher price. Give Feedback

How the Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 7i Pro and the LG Gram 17 compare to other laptops
"The main selling point of the IdeaPad Slim 7i Pro versus a regular IdeaPad Slim 7 is its faster Core H-series CPU. In reality, the Core i7-11370H is only marginally faster than the U-series Core i7-1165G7 to the point where most users are not likely to notice the benefits. The slight performance uptick comes at the cost of slightly higher power consumption as well meaning owners will have to deal with potentially warmer temperatures or louder fans to compensate. Unless if you happen to be a power user, then the regular non-Pro model will be more than enough. Once you go 90 Hz, you can't go back."
"The LG Gram 17 is a light office laptop with a large display and great battery life. The newest incarnation of the Gram 17 can be classified as a model update. LG uses the predecessor's compact, light magnesium case along with an identical port configuration (including 2x Thunderbolt 4) and keyboard. Changes can be found in the hardware. With the Gram 17 (2022), LG offers a light (approx. 1,350 g), mobile work device - and finally with a matte display."
