The Lenovo IdeaPad 5 Pro might be a better option if you're looking for a more budget-friendly laptop with solid performance and a dedicated Nvidia RTX 3050 graphics card, making it suitable for gaming and graphic-intensive tasks. However, it is a bit bulkier and heavier, which could affect portability. On the other hand, the Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 7i Pro is more expensive but offers a sleeker design, lighter weight, and higher resolution screen, which could appeal to those who prioritize portability and display quality over graphical performance. It uses Intel integrated graphics, which are not as powerful as a dedicated graphics card, potentially making it less optimal for heavy gaming or intensive graphic workflows. Give Feedback

The Lenovo IdeaPad 5 Pro has a better screen than the Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 7i Pro for gaming and AI, while the Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 7i Pro has a better screen for general use, and engineering and design.
For general use, the Lenovo IdeaPad 5 Pro and Slim 7i Pro both provide pleasing visuals thanks to their high-resolution, bright displays with panel types that offer clear and sharp images, but the Slim 7i Pro edges out with slightly superior clarity and brightness. When it comes to engineering and design, both laptops cover a wide range of colors, crucial for accurate color work, but the Slim 7i Pro typically displays colors a bit more precisely. However, their lower refresh rates make both less ideal for 3D gaming, where a smooth and responsive experience is key, and while resolution and panel type still matter here, they are not as critical as the refresh rate.

How the Lenovo IdeaPad 5 Pro and the Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 7i Pro compare to other laptops
"The Lenovo IdeaPad 5 Pro turns out a successful all-rounder that, aside from 3D applications, always strikes a good or very good figure. This begins with the elegant metal case that isn't particularly light but fairly robust, giving a high-quality impression. The input devices are also better than those of many competitors. Both the keyboard and the touchpad are attractive and comfortable. In addition, the performance of the Ryzen 5 6600HS is easily able to keep up with the Intel competitors."
"The main selling point of the IdeaPad Slim 7i Pro versus a regular IdeaPad Slim 7 is its faster Core H-series CPU. In reality, the Core i7-11370H is only marginally faster than the U-series Core i7-1165G7 to the point where most users are not likely to notice the benefits. The slight performance uptick comes at the cost of slightly higher power consumption as well meaning owners will have to deal with potentially warmer temperatures or louder fans to compensate. Unless if you happen to be a power user, then the regular non-Pro model will be more than enough. Once you go 90 Hz, you can't go back."
