The Lenovo IdeaPad 5 Pro offers a balance of features with a budget-friendly price, including a sizeable and fast storage, ample memory, and a capable AMD Ryzen processor paired with an Nvidia RTX 3050 GPU. This combination is suitable for general use and moderately demanding engineering tasks, but not optimized for the most intensive gaming or 3D/machine learning applications. Its battery life allows for decent usage time, it boasts a large 16-inch IPS display with a resolution that provides clarity and an aspect ratio that's great for productivity, although it lacks touchscreen functionality. It's reasonably portable for its size while also having a backlit keyboard and a number of ports, including USB-C and HDMI, but note that it doesn't have Thunderbolt connectivity. A well-rounded device, it's geared more towards productivity and multitasking than hardcore gaming or high-end content creation. Give Feedback

NotebookCheck

Florian Glaser | September 2022
"The Lenovo IdeaPad 5 Pro turns out a successful all-rounder that, aside from 3D applications, always strikes a good or very good figure. This begins with the elegant metal case that isn't particularly light but fairly robust, giving a high-quality impression. The input devices are also better than those of many competitors. Both the keyboard and the touchpad are attractive and comfortable. In addition, the performance of the Ryzen 5 6600HS is easily able to keep up with the Intel competitors."
