The Lenovo IdeaPad 3 15" is a budget-friendly option with modest specifications suitable for everyday tasks, light web browsing, and basic office work, due to its lower-tier processor and integrated graphics. Its screen is basic with lower resolution, so it's not ideal for high-quality media consumption. On the other hand, the MSI GP66 Leopard is pricier and designed for more intensive uses such as gaming, 3D modeling, and other performance-heavy tasks due to its high-end processor and dedicated graphics card. Its higher resolution and faster screen refresh rate make it more suitable for an immersive experience in games and videos. The IdeaPad is lighter and easier to carry around, while the GP66 Leopard is heavier but offers a substantially more powerful performance. Hence, if price is a key concern and your usage mostly revolves around light activities, the IdeaPad could suffice. However, if you need a laptop for performance-driven tasks and can afford a higher price, the GP66 Leopard is a more suitable choice. Give Feedback

The MSI GP66 Leopard is good for general use, while the Lenovo IdeaPad 3 15" is only fair.
The Lenovo IdeaPad 3, with its modest Intel i3 processor, less RAM, and lower-resolution TN screen, is adequate for routine tasks but may struggle with more demanding applications. In contrast, the MSI GP66 Leopard offers a more powerful i7 processor, more RAM, and a higher-resolution IPS screen, making it better suited for intensive tasks and offering a more vibrant display, albeit with lower portability due to its higher weight and larger size.

The MSI GP66 Leopard has a better screen than the Lenovo IdeaPad 3 15" for general use, gaming and AI, engineering and design, content creation, and software development.
If you prioritize a crisp and clear display for daily activities like browsing the web or watching videos, the MSI GP66 Leopard with its higher resolution and brighter display will be more pleasing to the eye than the Lenovo IdeaPad 3. For engineering and design work where color accuracy matters, the MSI's better coverage of professional color gamuts ensures more precise and vibrant visuals, an area where the Lenovo falls short. However, for gamers and those into 3D modeling, despite the MSI's decent resolution and panel technology, its lesser refresh rate may not be as satisfying as laptops designed specifically with high refresh rates for smoother motion and gameplay.

"The Lenovo IdeaPad 3 is an enduring office notebook with a powerful Ryzen APU. Lenovo's office all-rounder easily handles office and internet applications as well as modest games - the Ryzen 5 5625U APU and 16 GB of RAM make this possible. The CPU and GPU can work at consistently high clock rates. The emission values are okay, but the noise emissions should be lower under medium to full load. The relatively light notebook (approx. 1.6 kg) achieves practical battery runtimes of about 10 to 11 hours."
"The MSI GP66 Leopard is a good budget high-performance gamer. The MSI also does a lot right outside of the pure performance despite it's low price. For example, the adaptive cooling system really surprised us positively, even in Extreme Performance Mode. And the display is not a budget panel either, but at least outshines the competition in terms of brightness. Of course, you also have to accept a few compromises in this price category. These include the Leopard's poor battery runtimes and the less than optimal build quality, which is also noticeable in the more complicated maintenance."
