Since you're considering both the Lenovo IdeaPad 1 14" and the MSI Summit E16 Flip, it's important to recognize that the large price difference likely reflects significant variations in their capabilities. The Lenovo IdeaPad 1 14" is designed to be affordable and may suffice for everyday tasks like web browsing, document editing, and media consumption, but it may struggle with more demanding processes due to more modest hardware. On the other hand, the MSI Summit E16 Flip, being pricier, is expected to offer superior performance, potentially including a higher quality display, faster processor, more memory, and advanced features like a touchscreen with stylus support, making it suitable for more intensive tasks such as graphic design, video editing, or gaming. Additionally, its build quality and battery life might be better than the Lenovo's. If portability and battery life are major concerns and your usage is limited to basic tasks, the Lenovo could serve you well and save you money. However, if you need a laptop that can handle power-intensive applications and offer a higher-end user experience, investing in the MSI Summit E16 Flip could be the right choice. Give Feedback

PCMag

Tom Brant | August 2021
"The IdeaPad 1 14 is a simple machine, but it’s well-designed and has nearly everything you’d expect from a no-nonsense laptop that allows you to check emails and get schoolwork or other light tasks done with relative ease. A "true" 128GB SSD (as opposed to an eMMC drive) and a roomy 14-inch full HD display are arguably the star attractions, with the comfortable keyboard and reasonably modern styling playing important backup roles."

NotebookCheck

Sascha Mölck | October 2022
"The MSI Summit E16 Flip is a 2-in-1 laptop with pen, 16:10 display, and RTX 3050 Ti. The Summit E16 Flip is a 2-in-1 laptop from the business segment that primarily targets creative users. MSI combines a 16-inch touchscreen in the 16:10 format with a powerful midrange GPU. While the 2-in-1 laptop from MSI isn't meant for everybody, it should definitely attract some followers. The touchscreen display (2,560 x 1,600 pixels) covers the DCI-P3 color space. This is accompanied by stable viewing angles, a good color reproduction, short response times, and a good contrast level."
