The Lenovo Flex 5 16 offers a balance of performance and value, suitable for everyday tasks and some light engineering work with its Intel i7 processor and Iris Xe graphics. Its larger 16-inch screen with a high resolution of 2560 x 1600 and a 16:10 aspect ratio is great for productivity and entertainment, though the 60Hz refresh rate is standard. It's a versatile 2-in-1 with a touchscreen, but it's not the lightest or most portable option.
In contrast, the Samsung Galaxy Book4 Edge 14 boasts a vibrant OLED display with a higher refresh rate of 120Hz and superior color reproduction, making it exceptional for media consumption and creative work. The Qualcomm Snapdragon X Elite processor provides good performance for general use, but it may not match the Intel i7's capabilities for more demanding tasks. The Samsung is more expensive but offers better portability due to its smaller size and longer battery life. It also has a more modern design and better build quality.
If you prioritize a superior screen for visual tasks, need something compact, and are willing to pay a premium for it, the Samsung Galaxy Book4 Edge 14 is the way to go. However, if you want a larger screen, better performance for engineering tasks, and are looking for a more cost-effective solution, the Lenovo Flex 5 16 is a solid choice. Give Feedback

How the Lenovo Flex 5 16 and the Samsung Galaxy Book4 Edge 14 compare to other laptops
"The Lenovo IdeaPad Flex 5 is a solidly equipped, 2-in-1 in the lower price segment. Performance is definitely sufficient for everyday tasks and in tests the battery proved itself to be very economical. That aside, there is a lot of standard fare on show and a search for real highlights ends in vain. The low color coverage and reflective display can be avoided by going for an optional 2.5K display but this also presumably results in poorer battery life. The cooling uses only one fan and leads to a raised temperature on one side of the device under load. Additionally, there is very loud fan noise, also under load or when gaming. On top of that, we also occasionally noticed electronic noises."
