For a balance of performance and portability with a focus on gaming, 3D rendering, and machine learning tasks, the Lenovo Legion 5 16 (2024) is a strong contender. It offers a higher resolution display, better color accuracy, and superior performance with its latest generation processor and graphics card, making it suitable for more demanding tasks and intensive gaming sessions. However, it's slightly pricier and heavier, which might impact its portability. On the other hand, the MSI Pulse GL66 is a good choice if you're looking for a more budget-friendly option that still delivers solid gaming performance with its RTX 3070 GPU. It's also lighter and has a longer battery life, making it more suitable for users who prioritize mobility and general use. However, its display isn't as advanced as the Legion's, and it may not handle future-proofing as well due to its older generation processor. Consider the Legion for its superior performance and display quality, especially if you don't mind the extra weight and cost. Opt for the MSI if you value battery life and a lighter design for everyday tasks and still want decent gaming capabilities. Give Feedback

Christian Hintze | April 2022
"The MSI Pulse GL66 has a lot of potential for improvement. Although the RTX 3060 is only able to use 105 watts, we still liked the gaming performance, particularly since this also makes the Pulse comfortably efficient but not slow by any means. Neither the dark display with its lame response times, nor USB 2.0 or the lack of Thunderbolt will please real gamers. The use of a sticker factory seal, which is at least questionable, also won't inspire any enthusiasm. It is obvious that the laptop is really designed for price-conscious gamers."
