The HP Victus 15 offers robust gaming and engineering capabilities with its dedicated Nvidia RTX 3050 GPU and Intel i5 processor, making it a strong contender for those who prioritize performance in these areas. Its 144Hz refresh rate also enhances the experience for fast-paced gaming. However, it's heavier and thicker, which impacts its portability. The battery life is decent but not outstanding.
In contrast, the Samsung Galaxy Book4 Edge 16 boasts a high-resolution OLED display with vibrant colors and a touchscreen, ideal for general use and creative tasks that benefit from a superior screen. Its Qualcomm Snapdragon X Elite processor and Adreno 750 GPU cater to general productivity and light gaming, but it may not match the Victus 15 in intensive tasks like 3D rendering or machine learning. The Galaxy Book4 Edge 16 is also more expensive, thinner, lighter, and has a longer battery life, significantly enhancing its portability.
Ultimately, if performance in gaming and engineering tasks is your priority and you don't mind a bulkier device, the HP Victus 15 is the way to go. However, if you value a premium display, portability, and a sleek design for general use and light creative work, the Samsung Galaxy Book4 Edge 16 is the better choice. Give Feedback

How the HP Victus 15 and the Samsung Galaxy Book4 Edge 16 compare to other laptops
Olivier Martin, Ryan Lim, and Yannick Khong | March 2023
"The HP Victus 15 is great for gaming. It's available with Intel 12th Gen. CPUs and NVIDIA discrete graphics, which are powerful enough to provide a smooth gaming experience in demanding AAA titles at 1080p. It has a nice keyboard and a fast SSD, as well as Wi-Fi 6 and Ethernet connectivity for low-latency online gaming. Unfortunately, its 144Hz display has a slow response time causing noticeable ghosting, and it doesn't support variable refresh rate to reduce screen tearing."
