The HP Victus 15 offers good value for a lower midrange price, with decent performance suitable for everyday use and moderate gaming, thanks to its mid-tier graphics card. It has a standard Full HD display and a modest battery, making it practical for general purposes and casual gaming. Conversely, the Razer Blade 17 is an upscale, high-performance laptop with a high-res display and a top-end graphics card, enabling premium gaming, demanding 3D work, and intensive engineering tasks. However, the Razer Blade 17 is significantly pricier, somewhat heavier, and might have a shorter battery life due to its more powerful components. Choose the HP Victus 15 for affordability and adequate functionality, or invest in the Razer Blade 17 for superior performance and build quality, at the cost of portability and price. Give Feedback

The Razer Blade 17 surpasses the HP Victus 15 in key areas such as having a more powerful CPU, significantly more RAM, and higher screen quality, which contribute to its 'very good' rating for general use. However, it is less portable due to its larger size and heavier weight, and both laptops have a similar battery life, which makes the HP Victus 15 a reasonable choice if portability and price are major considerations.

How the HP Victus 15 and the Razer Blade 17 compare to other laptops
Olivier Martin, Ryan Lim, and Yannick Khong | March 2023
"The HP Victus 15 is great for gaming. It's available with Intel 12th Gen. CPUs and NVIDIA discrete graphics, which are powerful enough to provide a smooth gaming experience in demanding AAA titles at 1080p. It has a nice keyboard and a fast SSD, as well as Wi-Fi 6 and Ethernet connectivity for low-latency online gaming. Unfortunately, its 144Hz display has a slow response time causing noticeable ghosting, and it doesn't support variable refresh rate to reduce screen tearing."
"Our test configuration of the Blade 17 targets gamers and creative professionals. A Core i9-12900H processor, GeForce RTX 3080 Ti Laptop GPU (175 watts TGP after the BIOS update, 16 GB of VRAM), and 32 GB of working memory equip the laptop for video processing, rending, and 4k gaming at the highest level. In addition, a fast PCIe-4 SSD (1 TB) ensures short load and storage times. With the Blade 17 (Early 2022), Razer delivers a successful and powerful work device for creative professionals. But this also has its price."
