The MSI Prestige 13 AI Evo has a better screen than the HP Victus 15 for general use, gaming and AI, engineering and design, content creation, and software development.
For general use, the MSI Prestige 13 AI Evo's higher resolution and brightness provide a crisp and vibrant display, outclassing the HP Victus 15 which offers a solid display but with less clarity and luminance. When it comes to engineering and design, the MSI stands out with its superior color accuracy and range, important for detailed and color-critical work, while the HP's display may appear less vivid. However, for gaming and 3D applications, both laptops fall short due to lower refresh rates that can't deliver the smooth visuals preferred by gamers and professionals working with fast-moving graphics.

How the HP Victus 15 and the MSI Prestige 13 AI Evo compare to other laptops
Olivier Martin, Ryan Lim, and Yannick Khong | March 2023
"The HP Victus 15 is great for gaming. It's available with Intel 12th Gen. CPUs and NVIDIA discrete graphics, which are powerful enough to provide a smooth gaming experience in demanding AAA titles at 1080p. It has a nice keyboard and a fast SSD, as well as Wi-Fi 6 and Ethernet connectivity for low-latency online gaming. Unfortunately, its 144Hz display has a slow response time causing noticeable ghosting, and it doesn't support variable refresh rate to reduce screen tearing."
