When choosing between the HP Victus 15 and the MSI Creator M14, consider that the HP often comes at a lower price, which may be appealing for budget-conscious buyers, and it's generally good for everyday use and moderate gaming. On the other hand, the MSI Creator M14, while more expensive, typically offers better performance for creative professionals who engage in tasks like video editing, 3D design, and other resource-intensive applications. It often has a higher quality display suitable for color-sensitive work, though it might compromise on battery life compared to the HP. If portability matters, the MSI is usually lighter and easier to carry around. Give Feedback

The MSI Creator M14 has a better screen than the HP Victus 15 for general use, engineering and design, content creation, and software development.
The HP Victus 15's screen offers adequate brightness and resolution with a panel type suitable for everyday tasks, but it may not offer the color accuracy needed for precise engineering and design work, and its lower refresh rate can hinder the smooth visuals desired in gaming and 3D applications. The MSI Creator M14, with its focus on content creation, likely has superior color accuracy covering wider color gamuts critical for engineering and design professionals, yet it still falls short for gaming and 3D due to a refresh rate that doesn’t match the high standards of those environments. For general use, both laptops' screens are competent, providing clear visuals for common activities like web browsing, video playback, and document editing.

Olivier Martin, Ryan Lim, and Yannick Khong | March 2023
"The HP Victus 15 is great for gaming. It's available with Intel 12th Gen. CPUs and NVIDIA discrete graphics, which are powerful enough to provide a smooth gaming experience in demanding AAA titles at 1080p. It has a nice keyboard and a fast SSD, as well as Wi-Fi 6 and Ethernet connectivity for low-latency online gaming. Unfortunately, its 144Hz display has a slow response time causing noticeable ghosting, and it doesn't support variable refresh rate to reduce screen tearing."
