Choosing between the HP Victus 15 and the Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Titanium Yoga depends on your needs. The HP Victus 15 offers more gaming-oriented features, such as a high-performance graphics card, making it suitable for gaming and graphically intensive tasks. However, it is heavier and has a shorter battery life, making it less portable. In contrast, the Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Titanium Yoga is more expensive but provides a premium, lightweight, and versatile experience with its 2-in-1 convertible design, better for general use and business applications. Both have similar storage and memory, but the ThinkPad has a higher resolution screen and is more portable with a longer battery life, while the Victus offers better performance for gaming at a lower price. The Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Titanium Yoga has a better screen than the HP Victus 15 for general use, engineering and design, and content creation.
For general use, the HP Victus 15 offers a balance of resolution and brightness suitable for everyday tasks, while its panel type provides decent viewing angles, but it may lack the refinement in color accuracy and sharpness that the Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Titanium Yoga's higher resolution and premium panel type offer. For engineering and design, the ThinkPad's superior color gamut coverage ensures that colors are more accurately represented, which is crucial for precise work, a feature the HP might not match adequately. When it comes to 3D and gaming, however, both laptops fall short due to lower refresh rates, which means less fluid visuals during fast-paced scenes, although the Lenovo might slightly edge out with better resolution and panel type contributing to image clarity.

How the HP Victus 15 and the Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Titanium Yoga compare to other laptops
Olivier Martin, Ryan Lim, and Yannick Khong | March 2023
"The HP Victus 15 is great for gaming. It's available with Intel 12th Gen. CPUs and NVIDIA discrete graphics, which are powerful enough to provide a smooth gaming experience in demanding AAA titles at 1080p. It has a nice keyboard and a fast SSD, as well as Wi-Fi 6 and Ethernet connectivity for low-latency online gaming. Unfortunately, its 144Hz display has a slow response time causing noticeable ghosting, and it doesn't support variable refresh rate to reduce screen tearing."
"The ThinkPad X1 Titanium is a showcase of what Lenovo thinks business computing will look like in the near future. People want thinner, lighter laptops with high-quality screens and enough computing power to get their work done. The X1 Titanium achieves these goals with some controversial but innovative design choices, including a redesigned keyboard and a pared-down port selection."
