If price is a major consideration, the HP Victus 15 provides value while offering decent performance for general use and gaming, but you may find it bulkier and with a shorter battery life compared to more premium models. On the other hand, the Lenovo Slim Pro 9i, although more costly, would offer a more portable design, longer battery life, and potentially better performance for demanding tasks like 3D work, machine learning, or professional-grade applications. Between the two, you'll have to balance your budget against your needs for performance, design, and battery endurance. Give Feedback

The Lenovo Slim Pro 9i is very good for engineering and design, while the HP Victus 15 is only fair.
The Lenovo Slim Pro 9i outperforms the HP Victus 15 in engineering and design tasks due to its superior main processor, more RAM, and a higher-end GPU, which are crucial for complex computations and graphics handling; its screen quality is also outstanding with higher resolution, color accuracy, and brightness, enhancing visual detail and fidelity. These trade-offs come with the Lenovo's higher portability, owing to a lighter frame and smaller size, although both laptops have quality keyboards and speakers, with the HP Victus emitting less operating noise which could be preferable in quieter work environments.

Olivier Martin, Ryan Lim, and Yannick Khong | March 2023
"The HP Victus 15 is great for gaming. It's available with Intel 12th Gen. CPUs and NVIDIA discrete graphics, which are powerful enough to provide a smooth gaming experience in demanding AAA titles at 1080p. It has a nice keyboard and a fast SSD, as well as Wi-Fi 6 and Ethernet connectivity for low-latency online gaming. Unfortunately, its 144Hz display has a slow response time causing noticeable ghosting, and it doesn't support variable refresh rate to reduce screen tearing."
"The Lenovo Slim Pro 9i is an impressive laptop with a brilliant Mini-LED display, a powerful 100-watt version of Nvidia RTX 4050 graphics, and excellent connectivity. Having run the Cinebench benchmark again, we were impressed with the CPU performance. That makes the Slim Pro 9i is an easy recommendation, especially for those who care about GPU and CPU performance. It’s also a fantastic choice if you frequently view HDR movies and games on your laptop."
