The HP Victus 15 is a more budget-friendly option with decent performance, suitable for general use and casual gaming, featuring an Intel i5 processor and Nvidia RTX 3050 graphics. On the other hand, the Lenovo Legion Slim 7 16" boasts a more powerful AMD Ryzen 7 processor and Nvidia RTX 4060 graphics, ideal for more intensive 3D, machine learning, and engineering tasks, as well as serious gaming. The Lenovo also has a higher resolution and faster refresh rate display, which enhances visuals significantly. However, for better portability and longer battery life, the HP Victus 15 may be preferable. Keep in mind, investing in the Lenovo will grant you better overall performance and a superior screen, but for a higher price tag. Give Feedback

The Lenovo Legion Slim 7 16" is very good for gaming and AI, while the HP Victus 15 is only fair.
The Lenovo Legion Slim 7 16" outperforms the HP Victus 15 in gaming and 3D due to its superior Nvidia RTX 4060 graphics card and a higher screen refresh rate, enhancing visual fluidity and detail. In contrast, the HP Victus 15, while still capable, is equipped with a less powerful Nvidia RTX 3050 graphics card and a lower refresh rate, which means it can't match the Lenovo on graphical prowess or smoothness in high-speed gaming scenarios.

The Lenovo Legion Slim 7 16" is very good for engineering and design, while the HP Victus 15 is only fair.
The Lenovo Legion Slim 7 16" is very good for engineering and design due to its higher RAM, more powerful AMD processor, and superior Nvidia GPU, complemented by an exceptional screen with greater resolution and color accuracy, which is crucial for design tasks. On the other hand, the HP Victus 15 is simply considered good because while it has decent performance specs that can handle engineering software, its less capable GPU, lower RAM, and screen quality do not match the Lenovo's, making it less ideal for highly detailed engineering and demanding design work.

The Lenovo Legion Slim 7 has a better screen than the HP Victus 15 for general use, gaming and AI, engineering and design, content creation, and software development.
For general use, the Lenovo Legion Slim 7 stands out with its high resolution and brightness, which enhance visual clarity and detail, while the HP Victus 15 offers satisfactory visuals that are adequate for everyday tasks but may lack the sharpness and illumination of the Lenovo. When it comes to engineering and design, the Lenovo again takes the lead, offering a wider color gamut that ensures more accurate color representation for professionals working with visual media, whereas the HP, with a fair screen quality, may not reproduce colors as precisely. Meanwhile, for 3D and gaming, both laptops fall short due to low refresh rates that can affect the smoothness of motion, although the Lenovo's resolution and panel quality do provide a better overall experience for non-gaming related tasks.

"The HP Victus 15 is great for gaming. It's available with Intel 12th Gen. CPUs and NVIDIA discrete graphics, which are powerful enough to provide a smooth gaming experience in demanding AAA titles at 1080p. It has a nice keyboard and a fast SSD, as well as Wi-Fi 6 and Ethernet connectivity for low-latency online gaming. Unfortunately, its 144Hz display has a slow response time causing noticeable ghosting, and it doesn't support variable refresh rate to reduce screen tearing."
"The Lenovo Legion Slim 7 is a slim Legion notebook that is just as excellent with Nvidia & Intel. However, the Legion Slim 7i slightly sullied by lacklustre battery life. You get a slim aluminium chassis, great input devices, decent port selection, fast high-quality WQXGA display and great performance. Supporting Thunderbolt 4 is one advantage of the Intel/Nvidia model tested in this review. Moreover, this variant has slightly higher CPU performance as well as better GPU performance in certain applications (e.g. CUDA-based apps). The Lenovo Legion S7i is thin, premium and performant – but less efficient than its AMD counterpart."
