Choosing between the HP Victus 15 and the Lenovo Legion 7i Pro involves considering your budget and what you will use the laptop for. The HP Victus 15 is more affordable, comes with moderate computing power suitable for everyday tasks and light gaming, and is lightweight, making it portable. However, if your work demands intensive computational power, such as 3D modeling, machine learning, or high-end gaming, and you're willing to invest more, the Lenovo Legion 7i Pro, with its superior processor, advanced graphics card, and a larger and faster display, would be a far better fit despite being heavier and less portable. Both laptops come with Windows 11, but the Legion 7i Pro has additional features like RGB keyboard lighting and a wider array of ports. Give Feedback

The Lenovo Legion Pro 7i is very good for general use, while the HP Victus 15 is good.
The HP Victus 15, with moderate RAM and a mid-range CPU, is adequate for everyday tasks but may struggle with heavy multitasking; its lightweight design and longer battery life enhance its portability for general use. In contrast, the Lenovo Legion 7i Pro boasts a high-end CPU and substantial RAM, excelling in performance-intensive applications and multitasking, but its superior screen quality and larger battery contribute to increased weight, which, along with a shorter battery life, may limit its portability for general users.

The Lenovo Legion Pro 7i has a better screen than the HP Victus 15 for general use, gaming and AI, engineering and design, content creation, and software development.
For general use, the HP Victus 15 may offer a bright, high-resolution display suitable for daily tasks like web browsing and video streaming, while the Lenovo Legion Pro 7i delivers a similar experience with potentially higher brightness and sharper resolution, ensuring vibrant and clear images. In engineering and design, the Legion Pro 7i's display likely covers a wider range of colors, making it better for professionals who need accurate color representation for their work. However, for gaming and 3D applications, both laptops fall short due to lower refresh rates, which means they aren't ideal for fast-paced visuals that benefit from smoother motion and quicker screen updates.

Olivier Martin, Ryan Lim, and Yannick Khong | March 2023
"The HP Victus 15 is great for gaming. It's available with Intel 12th Gen. CPUs and NVIDIA discrete graphics, which are powerful enough to provide a smooth gaming experience in demanding AAA titles at 1080p. It has a nice keyboard and a fast SSD, as well as Wi-Fi 6 and Ethernet connectivity for low-latency online gaming. Unfortunately, its 144Hz display has a slow response time causing noticeable ghosting, and it doesn't support variable refresh rate to reduce screen tearing."
"Passionate gamers who want to play demanding modern titles with maximum details and don't mind spending the moolah will find the Lenovo Legion 7 Pro to be the right choice. The bright, sharp, and color-accurate 16:10 QHD 240 Hz display makes for an immersive viewing experience. The hardware is housed in a stylish chassis that feels premium and scores well in terms of workmanship and stability. Other aspects such as sound quality, input devices, and connectivity also seem to be near-perfect."
