For a balance of performance and value, the HP Victus 15 is a solid choice, offering a capable Intel i5 processor and Nvidia RTX 3050 graphics within a lower midrange price point. It's well-suited for general use and light gaming, with a decent battery life and good portability. However, if you're looking for a more powerful machine that excels in gaming, 3D rendering, and machine learning tasks, the Lenovo Legion 5 16 (2024) with its high-performance Intel i9 processor and Nvidia RTX 4060 graphics is the way to go. It boasts a larger, higher-resolution display with a faster refresh rate, making it ideal for more demanding applications. Keep in mind, the Legion 5's superior performance comes with a tradeoff in battery life and portability, and it's priced higher in the midrange segment. Give Feedback

How the HP Victus 15 and the Lenovo Legion 5 16 (2024) compare to other laptops
Olivier Martin, Ryan Lim, and Yannick Khong | March 2023
"The HP Victus 15 is great for gaming. It's available with Intel 12th Gen. CPUs and NVIDIA discrete graphics, which are powerful enough to provide a smooth gaming experience in demanding AAA titles at 1080p. It has a nice keyboard and a fast SSD, as well as Wi-Fi 6 and Ethernet connectivity for low-latency online gaming. Unfortunately, its 144Hz display has a slow response time causing noticeable ghosting, and it doesn't support variable refresh rate to reduce screen tearing."
