The HP Stream 14" is more budget-friendly, making it a good choice if cost is a primary concern. It's designed for basic tasks, such as browsing the internet or using office applications due to its modest Intel Celeron processor and basic Intel UHD Graphics. However, its lower resolution screen and performance aren't suitable for intensive tasks. On the other hand, the MSI Bravo 15 costs more but comes with a more powerful AMD Ryzen processor and Nvidia RTX graphics, suitable for gaming, 3D work, or machine learning. With its higher resolution and refresh rate screen, it offers a significantly better visual experience. It's heavier and thicker, though, so it's less portable than the HP Stream. Consider the HP for everyday use and the MSI for performance-intensive applications, where its increased price reflects its higher capabilities. Give Feedback

The MSI Bravo 15 is good for general use, while the HP Stream 14" is only fair.
The HP Stream 14" offers decent portability and better battery life due to its smaller screen and lower-powered Intel Celeron CPU, but it comes with a lower quality TN panel and less versatile storage and RAM configurations compared to the MSI Bravo 15, which has a more powerful AMD Ryzen CPU, higher quality IPS screen, and dedicated Nvidia graphics card suitable for more intensive tasks but at the cost of reduced battery life and portability. The MSI Bravo 15's superior screen quality and gaming capabilities make it better for multimedia and gaming, while the HP Stream 14" is more suited for basic tasks with its emphasis on battery life and portability.

The MSI Bravo 15 is good for engineering and design, while the HP Stream 14" is poor.
The HP Stream 14" falls short for engineering and design due to its basic Intel Celeron processor, limited Intel UHD Graphics, and lower-resolution TN screen, which are not ideal for demanding tasks and detailed work that require a more powerful CPU, advanced GPU, and higher-quality display.

The MSI Bravo 15 has a better screen than the HP Stream 14" for general use, gaming and AI, engineering and design, content creation, and software development.
The HP Stream 14" likely has a lower resolution and a dimmer display, which impacts the viewing experience during general tasks, while its lack of wide color gamut support limits its effectiveness for color-critical engineering and design work; the less than stellar refresh rate hinders its usage for smooth gaming and 3D rendering. The MSI Bravo 15 offers better resolution and brightness, making it more suitable for everyday activities like browsing and video streaming; however, although it has reasonable resolution and panel quality for engineering and design, its color accuracy may fall short for professional-grade color work, and while fair, its refresh rate isn't top-tier, which may disappoint serious gamers and creators relying on fluid motion. Overall, while the MSI Bravo 15 exceeds in general use, neither laptop is ideal for users with high demands in engineering, design, or gaming due to their respective screen limitations.

How the HP Stream 14" and the MSI Bravo 15 compare to other laptops
"With half of the main system memory and a fraction of the storage that we recommend in any budget Windows laptop, the HP Stream 14 does not impress. Perhaps it doesn't need to, depending on your reference point. For the price, you're getting a functional laptop with Windows 10, which already places the HP Stream 14 above most Chromebooks on that merit alone. Still, in this price range, you can't do much worse, but you can do better. In fact, for just $100 more, you can grab the much superior budget option, the Lenovo IdeaPad 1 14."
"Overall, the MSI Bravo 15 C7U is a great gaming device for the masses that isn’t too pricey. The capable hardware (for the price range), the 144Hz display, and the comfortable keyboard are one of the things that should attract buyers who don’t want to spend a fortune on a new gaming laptop."
