If you prioritize cost savings, the HP Stream 14" is more budget-friendly and can handle basic tasks like web browsing and document editing; however, it has lower performance capabilities, a lower-resolution screen, and a less robust graphics card compared to the Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 7i Pro. The Lenovo offers a sharper and better display, more computing power suitable for more demanding tasks like photo editing, programming, or light gaming, and a higher-quality build, but it's more expensive. Choose the HP for simple everyday use and budget constraints, or invest in the Lenovo if you need better performance and display quality for advanced tasks. Give Feedback

The Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 7i Pro has a better screen than the HP Stream 14" for general use, gaming and AI, engineering and design, content creation, and software development.
The HP Stream's lower resolution and dimmer display hinder its appeal for general and engineering use, and its standard refresh rate isn't ideal for 3D applications that benefit from smoother visuals. Conversely, the Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 7i Pro offers a sharp, bright screen conducive to everyday tasks and detailed engineering designs, thanks to its better resolution and color accuracy. However, its standard refresh rate, while fine for general use and engineering, falls short for gaming and 3D work that demand quicker screen updates for fluid motion.

How the HP Stream 14" and the Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 7i Pro compare to other laptops
"With half of the main system memory and a fraction of the storage that we recommend in any budget Windows laptop, the HP Stream 14 does not impress. Perhaps it doesn't need to, depending on your reference point. For the price, you're getting a functional laptop with Windows 10, which already places the HP Stream 14 above most Chromebooks on that merit alone. Still, in this price range, you can't do much worse, but you can do better. In fact, for just $100 more, you can grab the much superior budget option, the Lenovo IdeaPad 1 14."
"The main selling point of the IdeaPad Slim 7i Pro versus a regular IdeaPad Slim 7 is its faster Core H-series CPU. In reality, the Core i7-11370H is only marginally faster than the U-series Core i7-1165G7 to the point where most users are not likely to notice the benefits. The slight performance uptick comes at the cost of slightly higher power consumption as well meaning owners will have to deal with potentially warmer temperatures or louder fans to compensate. Unless if you happen to be a power user, then the regular non-Pro model will be more than enough. Once you go 90 Hz, you can't go back."
