The HP Envy x360 15" is typically more expensive and offers better general, 3D/machine learning, and engineering performance than the Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 3. It has a higher quality keyboard, better speakers, and a backlit keyboard but is heavier and has fewer available RAM and storage slots. The Lenovo, while often less expensive, has a larger storage capacity and slightly better battery life and portability. Both have touchscreens and similar display quality but the Lenovo has a slightly higher screen pixel density. Neither is suitable for intensive gaming. Overall, choose the HP for better performance and build or the Lenovo for cost savings and slight improvements in portability and storage. Give Feedback

CNET

Matt Elliott | January 2023
"Despite its good looks, stellar webcam and comfortable keyboard, the Envy x360 15 is hard to recommend because of its dim, 16:9 display. If the display isn't an issue for you, just be sure to wait for a good sale price. Otherwise, a more modern two-in-one with a 16:10 display such as the Dell Inspiron 16 2-in-1 or Lenovo Yoga 7i 16 provides a larger workspace without adding much to the size and weight of the system."

Rtings

Olivier Martin, Ryan Lim, and John Peroramas | May 2023
"The Lenovo IdeaPad 3i is decent for use as a workstation. Its Intel CPU and integrated graphics can only handle light productivity tasks, not demanding workloads like video editing or 3D graphics. You also can't do any color-critical work because the available displays have a narrow color gamut. It has a good port selection, but its USB-C lacks Thunderbolt 4 support. On the upside, it has a comfortable keyboard and doesn't get hot or loud under load."
