If you prioritize a longer battery life and a more portable design, the HP EliteBook 845 G9 could be an excellent choice, especially considering it's less expensive. However, if better performance for tasks like 3D rendering, machine learning, and gaming is essential, and you don't mind a heavier laptop with shorter battery life, the Razer Blade 15 offers a powerful CPU and GPU. Although the Razer Blade 15 costs more, its higher display resolution and refresh rate might justify the price if you need crisp visuals and smooth motion for design work or entertainment. How the HP EliteBook 845 G9 and the Razer Blade 15 compare to other laptops
"The high-end version of the HP EliteBook 845 G9 with a Ryzen 9 PRO 6950HS, 32GB of RAM and a 1 TB SSD packs a lot of power, but is still quiet and cool enough to operate in noise-sensitive environments. Quiet, cool and drawing on a massive 40 watts from the APU at the same time, however, is not possible. The 14-incher only has a single-fan solution and it only just manages to keep an near unthrottled Ryzen 9 in check."
"The 2022 Blade 15 offers roughly 15 to 25 percent faster graphics performance and 20 percent faster CPU performance over last year's Core i7-11800H and RTX 3080 model. Thankfully, the system doesn't need to run noticeably louder or warmer to achieve faster results, but both power consumption and battery life take a hit. The higher consumption in particular appears to be a trend amongst many 12th gen Core laptops including the Schenker Uniwill Technology GM7AG8P or MSI Vector GP66 when compared to their previous generation counterparts. We're also glad to not see below-average CPU performance which was the case for the 10th gen Core i7-10875H model."
