The HP EliteBook 845 G9 is pricier than the Microsoft Surface Laptop Go 2, offering greater storage, more RAM, and a more capable processor, suitable for intensive tasks like engineering software. Its larger screen size provides a more comfortable viewing experience but makes it less portable than the Surface Laptop Go 2, which also features a touchscreen. The Surface Laptop is lighter and more affordable, appropriate for general use and mobility, though it has lower capacity for storage and multitasking. Both have good build quality and keyboards, but the HP's longer battery life lends itself better to extended use without charging. Give Feedback

How the HP EliteBook 845 G9 and the Microsoft Surface Laptop Go 2 compare to other laptops
"The high-end version of the HP EliteBook 845 G9 with a Ryzen 9 PRO 6950HS, 32GB of RAM and a 1 TB SSD packs a lot of power, but is still quiet and cool enough to operate in noise-sensitive environments. Quiet, cool and drawing on a massive 40 watts from the APU at the same time, however, is not possible. The 14-incher only has a single-fan solution and it only just manages to keep an near unthrottled Ryzen 9 in check."
"The Microsoft Surface Laptop Go 2 review is a compact companion with old hardware. The Surface Laptop Go 2 shows some weaknesses. Microsoft didn't really develop the second generation of the Surface Laptop Go 2 any further but has only equipped it with a slightly more powerful Core i5 processor. However, the performance still remains at a fairly low level overall, but for many users, it definitely should still be sufficient for everyday tasks."
