Choosing between the HP EliteBook 845 G9 and the Lenovo ThinkPad X13 depends on your priorities. If keeping costs down while still getting a solid, reliable machine for everyday tasks is important, then the HP EliteBook may be appealing. However, if you're looking for something that might provide a sturdier build and potentially better keyboard experience, which is often a hallmark of the ThinkPad line, the X13 could be worth the extra investment. Both will handle general business applications well, but for more demanding tasks like 3D work or heavy multitasking, ensure the model you pick has the necessary specs like a powerful processor and ample RAM. The ThinkPad line is also known for its commitment to durability and security, which might tip the scales if those are top concerns. Consider battery life and portability as well; a smaller, lighter laptop is easier to carry, but may have less room for larger batteries that provide longer unplugged usage. Give Feedback

How the HP EliteBook 845 G9 and the Lenovo ThinkPad X13 compare to other laptops
"The high-end version of the HP EliteBook 845 G9 with a Ryzen 9 PRO 6950HS, 32GB of RAM and a 1 TB SSD packs a lot of power, but is still quiet and cool enough to operate in noise-sensitive environments. Quiet, cool and drawing on a massive 40 watts from the APU at the same time, however, is not possible. The 14-incher only has a single-fan solution and it only just manages to keep an near unthrottled Ryzen 9 in check."
"The Lenovo ThinkPad X13 G4 has very good input devices, a wide array of security features and ports as well as 5G in the tested configuration. It is more compact and lightweight compared with its predecessor, and it has improved speakers and a slightly better webcam. On the other hand, the fan is more annoying and the performance is barely improved. The battery is worse as well, but this is primarily attributable to the OLED screen - if this aspect is important, buyers should choose the IPS Low Power LCD."
